Jul E. Adams-Watkins, age 63, passed away at her residence in Walnut, IL on February 4th, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Velma Adams, Tampico, IL and a brother, William of Prophetstown. She is survived by her husband, David Watkins, one sister Marjorie (Saathoff) of Jupiter FL, and brothers Robert (Mary) of Chillicothe, Douglas (Brenda) of Tampico, Michael of Palm Beach Gardens FL, Gregory of Rock Falls, Francis (Laura) of Silvis, David (Jenny) of Tampico and many close-knit nieces, nephews , and cousins. Jul attended Newman Central Catholic High School, Sterling, IL and went on to earn her degree at Northern Illinois University. She was retired from Kreider Services, Dixon, IL where she had been the Director of Public Relations. She donated her body to science to further medical research and education. There will be no graveside services. A “Celebration of Life” memorial service will be held on February 20th, 2016 at 10 AM. The service will be at The Next Picture Show, a fine arts center, located at 113 W. 1st Street, Dixon, IL. Memorial fund has been established to Kreider Services.
