ARTHUR L. TEMPLE, 89, of Clinton, IA, formerly of Fulton, IL, died Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton, IA.

Art was born July 12, 1926, in Fulton, IL, to Louis and Stella (Hook) Temple. He was educated in the Fulton, IL schools. He married Charlotte M. Turner on October 7, 1944, in Low Moor, IA. She died January 8, 2000. Art was employed by the former Chicago and Northwestern Railroad for 36 years. He was a member of the First Reformed Church in Fulton. Art enjoyed roller skating during his younger years. He also spent time driving his car and "friendship visits" to residents of nursing homes and care facilities.

Survivors include his best friend, Marilyn Neymeyer of Clinton, IA; two sons, Art (Marcia) Temple of Cedar Rapids, IA and Dale (Yang SK) "Sunny" Temple of Hoffman Estates, IL; six grandchildren, Craig (Tammy) Temple, Dennis (Michelle) Temple, Kevin (Kristen) Temple, Jessica (Adam) Herr, Bradford Temple, and Vaughn (Laura) Temple; and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlotte; two sisters and three brothers.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM Saturday - September 5, 2015 at the Fulton Chapel - Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

OFFICIATING: Rev. Edie Lenz - Pastor: First Reformed Church - Fulton, IL

VISITATION: 12:30 PM to time of funeral service Saturday - September 5, 2015 at the Fulton Chapel - Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home

INTERMENT: Fulton Township Cemetery - Fulton, IL
