Mildred THOME

Rock Falls - Mildred M. Thome, 85, of 620 W 13th Street., Rock Falls, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005, at CGH Medical Center. She was a cook at Tampico Grade School for 20 years.

Mrs. Thome was bonr Nov. 9, 1919, in Tampico, the daughter of Herbert and Sadie (Renner) LEE. She married Lawrence L. THOME on April 28, 1938, in Iowa. She was a member of Tampico United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, a son, Larry (Judy) THOME of Tampico, a daughter Jerria (Neil) CADY of Rock Falls, a sister, Geraldine (Raymond) BRAGGO of Tampico, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert LEE, Jr.

The funeral is at 2 p.m.Sunday at Tampico United Methodist Church with the Rev. Monty Fox, pastor, officiating. Burial is at Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-7 p.. Saturday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico.

Memorials have been established to Tampico United Methodist Church and Breast Cancer Awareness.
