Mrs. Thompson Died Friday

Mrs. Alexander THOMPSON died at her home northwest of Tampico last week Friday of typhoid fever. The remains were brought to Tampico last Sunday afternoon and the funeral services were held at the Methodist church, Rev. Potter officiating. Interment was in theTampico cemetery.

Mary A. SANDERS was born near Newton, Jasper county, Iowa, October 16, 1864. She wAs united in  marriage to Alexander THOMPSON in 1885 at North Plato, Ill., and to this union were born eight children, two dying while young. Those surviving are Mrs. Etta FRANKS of Erie, Bessie of Chicago, James, Alexander, Fred and William at home. Also the husband and four brothers, three sisters and her aged mother. Mrs. THOMPSON was a Christian woman uniting with the church when young. She was a good kind neighbor, a faithful wife and a loving mother. The family have the sympathy of the entire community.
