TAMPICO FRIENDS SADDENED BY DEATH OF MRS. MARY LaDUE

Tampico. Ill., April 7 - (Special) -- Word was received here Sunday by Mrs. Georgia Glassburn of the passing away of her grandmother, Mrs. Mary La Due of Spring Valley, Sunday morning at her late home.

Mrs. La Due had been in poor health for some time past. She recovered sufficient to gain strength and be quite active for a woman of her years. She was about 83 years old and retained her mental faculties until the last days. She was loved by every one who knew her.

Mrs. La Due formerly lived in Tampico in her earlier days and was known by all of the early settlers here, her husband having a drug store in Tampico for a number of years, and they were active members of the Baptist church here. The friends here extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives. A full obituary will appear later.
