LUTHER J. BOUND PASSES AWAY AT PROPHETSTOWN

Luther J. Bound, 68, died at 9 p.m. Monday at his home in Prophetstown following an illness of one year. The body was removed to the Helm & Helm mortuary. Funeral rites are to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the late home, with burial in the Riverside cemetery at Prophetstown.

The deceased was born October 20, 1868 in Prophetstown township and had always lived in the community. He was married to Elizabeth Beechel of Hooppole, November 17, 1895. Mr. Bound was a farmer. He retired from the farm and moved to Prophetstown last January.

Besides his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Hugo Hecht in the home, and two sons, Earl and Orson, both of Prophetstown, survive. There are two grandchildren, Richard and Ardith Bound. A grandson, Bobby Daft, preceded him in death.
