Mrs. Billye Louise (McFarlin) Brady , 80 of Tampico, Illinois was received by the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2007.

She was born on December 29, 1926 in Little River Township, Mississippi County, Athleston, Arkansas, the daughter of George Columbus and Blanche Oceal (Tarwater) McFarlin. She was baptized in the First Baptist Church in Monette, Arkansas. She moved to California when she was 14 years old.

She married the love of her life, Francis (Bud) Harold Brady on December 18, 1945 in Ventura, California after his service in the Army and World War II. They moved to Illinois in 1945 and spent their days farming and raising a family. She enjoyed baking and was a volunteer pie maker for every occasion. She loved to travel and play games with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a member of Land of Lincoln Antique Barbwire Collectors Association.

She will be sadly missed by three children, Steve (Lynn) Brady, Kay (Ron) Lancaster and Mike (Barb) Brady all of Tampico; six grandchildren, Shanda (John) Marschang of Lacon, Denise Mickelson of Tampico, Chris (Julie) Brady of South Beloit, Chris Brady of Fulton, Ryan (Ondrea) Brady of Sterling, Serenity Brady of Tampico; eight great grandchildren, David Curley, Dylan and Wyatt Marschang, Hailey Mickelson, Kyle and Carson Brady, Madison and Macie Brady; 1 sister, Anna Lodema Bettiga of Kingsland, Georgia; a brother in law, Jack Brady of Prophetstown and several nieces, nephews and friends.

She will be re-united in heaven with her husband who preceded her in death on October 24, 1975 at the age of 57, her parents, an infant son, an infant grandson and one brother.

Private funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico with the Rev. Monty Fox, pastor of Tampico United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in Neponset. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HER MEMORY TO THE TAMPICO AMBULANCE AND FIRE DEPARTMENT IN LIEU OF FLOWERS.
