Wilbur R. Divelbiss Killed In Action

Mt. Carroll -- Wilbur R. Divelbiss of West Allis, Wis., formerly of Freeport, passed away Sataurday from injuries received in a truck accident near Macomb.

He was employed as a truck driver, was a member of the Milwaukee Campers Associaton and West Dallas McKinney Campers.

Wilbur Divelbiss was born Sept. 18, 1919 in Mt. Carroll, the son the the late Wilbur R. and Hilda Schindler Divelbiss.

He is survived by his widow, the former Verona Stratmann; two daughters, Mrs. Ernest (Paula) Berg and Mrs. Richard (Rita) Felski, both of West Allis; two brothers, Lee of Mt. Carroll and Grant of Waukegan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Borgwardt Funeral Home, West Allis, the Rev. Lawrence Rasmussen officiating, with burial in Highland Memorial Park, West Allis.
