Mrs. Kate Brady Laid at Rest

Funeral services for Mrs. Kate BRADY were held at Parent's Chapel Monday afternoon with a large number of relatives and friends present.

Mrs. A. A. YARDE, Sr., accompanied by Mrs. Myrtle YOUNG, sang "At the End of the Road" and "When I shall Fall Asleep." Mrs. G. A. STEVENS and Mrs. Glenn CARLSON were in charge of the many beautiful flowers.

A graveside committal was held in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery with Richard and John ESHELMAN of Rock Island, Ariel BRADY of East Gary, Ind., Edwin and Maynard PETERSON, grandsons, and Donald PETERSON, serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Kate Ann BRADY passed away in the presence of her Savior whom she received about a year ago, on Sept. 23, 1949, in the home of a grandchild, Mrs. Donald PETERSON near Deer Grove, at the age of 83 years and 20 days.

Mrs. BRADY had a stroke in July, 1947, which left her a partial invalid. The last illniess was short for she went to bed on Saturday afternoon and passed away on the folloing Friday afternoon.

Mrs. Brady was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on Nov. 26, 1933; a daughter, Nellie DRONENBERG on Oct. 24, 1947; a brother, Elba MYERS; a sister, Lillie WRIGHT; and one grandchild. She leaves to mourn over her departure three daughters, May PETERSON and Bessie REINAGLE of Tampico and Minnie ESHELMAN of Rock Island; a sister, Ella WRIGHT; grandchildren, great grandchildren; other relatives; and a host of friends.
