Brian D. Fowkes

 

            Brian D. Fowkes, 22, died Sunday, September 18, 2005.

            Brain was born on March 4, 1972 in Sterling, the son of Douglas Edward and Kathryn Ann (Hedstrom) Fowkes.  He married Toni Coon on December 12, 1992 in Sterling.  Brian was employed by Tyson Foods in Joslin for the past 12 years as a electrical technician.

            Surviving is his wife Toni; two sons, Andrew Michael Fowkes and Ryan Douglas Fowkes, both of Prophetstown; two brothers, Chad Fowkes of Sterling and Cory Fowkes of Chicago, IL; his father Douglas (Mary) Fowkes of Clinton, IA; his mother Kathryn Fowkes of Sterling; maternal grandmother Ruth Hedstrom of Sterling; paternal grandfather Donald Fowkes of Dixon.

            He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandmother.

            Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory in Prophetstown with Rev. Jim Jensen of the Advent Christian Church in Prophetstown officiating.  A gathering of family & friends will be Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. 

            In lieu of flowers, an educational fund has been established for his children.
