Frederick A. BREWER, former state legislator, who was a famous grid star of Northwestern university more than twenty-five years ago, died yesterday at Sterling hospita, Sterling, Ill., from injuries susained when he fell from a load of hay at his farm near Tampico, Ill., according to  information received in Chicago by a knisman, Attorney Harper E. Osborne. Mr. Brewere was 48 years old. He was full back on Northwestern's 1896 eleven, when Potter and Van Doozer were half backs.
