Funeral Services Sunday For Charles Chriest
 
Tampico: - Charles Chriest, 83, died at his home in Tampico at 2 p.m. Friday.  He had been ill in bed the past week.
 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Parent's chapel. Rev. Hollis Wharton, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating.  Burial will be in Tampico Memorial cemetery.
 
Mr. Chriest was born in Trenton, N. J., March 4, 1866.  He came to Tampico as a child and had lived here ever since.  A farmer, he moved to town 12 years ago.  He was a member of the Methodist church.
 
He was married April 21, 1908 in Rock Falls to Maude Kilroy, who preceded him in death in April of 1942.  A son, Bill, 19, also preceded him in October of 1936.
 
Surviving are two sons, Charles jr., of Tampico and Lester of Algonquin;  four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Ida Mari) Adams, and Mrs. Charles (Nellie) Peterson, both of Tampico, and Mrs. Bill (Wilma) Hauck of Cary, and Mrs. Russell (Darlene) Kent of Rock Falls.
