NELS O. ROSENE DIES ON MONDAY
Funeral Services Will Be In Tampico Wednesday
 
Nels O. Rosene, 75, farmer of west of Tampico, passed away Monday noon at the Jane Lamb hospital in Clinton, Ia., following an illness of four weeks.  He entered the hospital Oct. 14.  Mr. Rosene was born June 25, 1862 in Sweden.  He was married in Sweden in 1882 to Cecila Nelson.  They came to the United States in 1884 and settled in Princeton.  In 1900 they moved to Tampico.
 
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Tampico Church of Christ of which Mr. Rosene was a member.  Interment will be in the Tampico Memorial cemetery.  Mr. Rosene was also a member of the Modern Woodman lodge.
 
Surviving are four sons and two daughters, Harry of Rock Falls, Clarence, Ray and Grover of Tampico, and Miss Freda Rosene of Tampico, and Mrs. Tillie Newman of Lyndon.  There is one niece and one nephew living near Chicago.  Also 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Preceding him in death were his wife and two sons, Louis and Edward.
