NELLIE MAE (Cooper) HATTEN
 
Mrs. Eugene Hatten Rites At Tampico
 
Tampico: - Funeral services for Mrs. Eugene Hatten were held in Parent chapel Tuesday afternoon with Rev. A. L. Dittman, pastor of the Calvary Full Gospel Tabernacle of Rock Falls, officiating.
 
Archie Yarde, jr., sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Good Night and Good Morning," accompanied by Miss Juanita Pratt.
 
Mrs. Harold Anderson, Miss Helen Jones and Mrs. Robert Nuelle were in charge of the flowers.
 
Burial was in the Tampico Memorial cemetery.  Pallbearers were Willard Hunter, Leroy Stewart, Vernon Denison, Roy Hockman, Leroy Thomas and Harold Chambers.
 
Mrs. Hatten is survived by her husband; a son Eugene, jr., and the following children at home, Sarah, Myrtle, Charlene, Orville, James and Linda;  one granddaughter, Donna Jean;  her mother, Mrs. Clara Cooper, who lives in the home; six sisters, Mrs. John Dennis of Hillsdale;  Mrs. Earl Ward of Morris;  Mrs. Marvin Harstead and Mrs. Donald Schott and Mrs. Howard Ramsey of Streator;  Mrs. Eugene Gilmore of Rock Island; and two brothers, Ira Cooper of Odel, and Virgil Cooper of East Moline.
 
Relatives who attended from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schott and daughter,  and Mrs. Howard Ramsey of Pontiac;  Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ward and daughters of Morris;  Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Harstead and family of Streator;  Mr. and Mrs. Ira Cooper and daughter of Odell;  Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Cooper of Moline;  Mr. and Mrs. John Dennis and family of Hillsdale;  Mr. and Mrs. Roy Belford of East Chicago, Ind,;  Mr. and Mrs. Oaky Grubb and Miss Bernisha Wright of Olney;  Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hatten and family of East Moline;  Sherman Hatten of Hillsdale;  Mr. and Mrs. Laban Wright,  Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Thomas and Mrs. John Engelkens of Erie, and Mr. and Mrs. Laban Wright jr., of Moline.
