DEATH OF A FORMER RESIDENT

Samuel B. WINTER, first postmaster of Tampico and a pioneer resident of this place died in Absecon, N. J., April 18, 1915, an was buried at Pleasantville, that state April 22, according to a letter received from Geo. W. WINTER of Holstein, Iowa3a, also a former resident of Tampico. The deceased will be remembered by the older inhabitants as he came here in the fall of 1869, build the first store and was the first postmaster which office he held for some 20 years. He was born in Harrisburg, Pa., in May, 1823
