Dr. Claude D. Love Funeral On Thursday
 
Tampico: - Funeral services for Dr. Claude D. Love, 84, formerly of Tampico will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 (CST), at the Parent Chapel in Tampico with Rev. Calvin Roy officiating. Dr. Love passed away Tuesday at 12 o'clock after several years illness, at the Linton Home in Sterling.
 
He was born June 6, 1871, in Yorktown, the son of William James and Margaret Underhill Love.  Before he lived at the Linton Home he resided with Mr. and Mrs. Leo Strike, 605 Ave. A., Rock Falls.
 
He is survived by a brother, Arlie Love of Tampico; one son, Frank, and a daughter, Irene.


Friends may call at the Parent Chapel in Tampico this evening.

CLAUDE LOVE PASSED AWAY

Claude D. Love, 84, passed away about noon on Tuesday, July 5, at the Linton Nursing Home in Sterling after a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at the Parent Chapel in Tampico, with Rev. Calvin ROY, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

Cladue D. LOVE, son of William James and Margaret Underhill Love. was born at Yorktown, June 6, 1871.

Mr. LOVE is survived by two children, Frank and Irene and by one brother, Arlie LOVE of Tampico. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister Mae. Following the death of his wife, he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Leo STRIKE and children until he entered the nursing home some months ago.

Funeral services for Dr. Claude D. LOVE were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Parent chapel by Rev. Calvin ROY, pastor of the Baptist church.

Mrs. Maynard PETERSON san "Lead Kindly Light" and "Good NIght and Good Morning" accompanied by Mrs. Calvin ROY.

Burial was in Tampico Memorial cemetery with Frank . GERBER, Angus WATSON, Ralph FOY, Maynard PETERSON, Garnett PRICE and Ira DAY serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Garnett PRICE assited with the flowers.
