Mrs. J. J. Kepner Rites Held Friday

 

 

TAMPICO – Funeral services for Mrs. J. J. KEPNER were held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Methodist church with Rev. Henry HOLVERSON officiating.

 

Mrs. Ivan BISHOP was at the organ and Mrs. Everett RENKES sang, “That Will Be Glory For Me” and “Have Thine Own Way Lord.” Burial was in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers for the rites, which were largely attended were Harry Chapin, Arthur Davis, Paul WETZELL, Lloyd NEWLON, Herbert Ackerson and Harold WETZELL.

 

Flowers aides were Mrs. Paul WETZELL, Mrs. Fred EKSTRAND and Mrs. Otho SPEARS.

 

Relatives and friends attended from out of town were from, Macomb, LaMoille, Pekin, Dover, Buda, Princeton, Rock Falls, Rockford, Winnebago, Milledgeville, Sterling, Oswego, Walnut, Annawan, Manlius, Peoria and Winthrop, Iowa.
