LOIS (Rollo)  ECHELBARGER

Mrs. Lois Echelbarger Dies, Rites Thurdsay
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. Lois Rollo Echelbarger, 52, died Monday morning at the Moline Public Hospital, following a long illness.
 
The body was brought to the Gardner Funeral Home where friends may call Thursday.  Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Prophetstown Methodist Church, the Rev. Donald M. Cobb, pastor of the Erie Methodist Church, officiating. Burail will be in the Rivereside cemetery.
 
Lois Rollo was born Feb. 27, 1907 at Thomas, the daughter of Raymond V. and Isaphine Howlett Rolo.  She was married to Lyle Echelbarger of Erie.
 
She had made her home in Erie for 25 years until two years ago when she became ill and came to Prophetstown to the home of her parents.  She taught in the Erie and Lyndon schools.   She was a member of the Erie Methodist Chiurch.
 
Survivors are her parents, one brother, F. V. Rollo, Prophetstown, and one sister Mrs. Jessie Peterson, Walnut.
 
She was preceded in death by one brother, George.
