OBITUARY

 

Esther May Hoover, age 88, of 808A Coventry Lane, Sterling, Illinois, died Friday, November 29, 2002 at her home in Sterling.

 

Mrs. Hoover was born on November 29, 1914 in Tampico, Illinois, the daughter of Oscar and Orient Olds Wetzell. She was united in marriage to Harold Hoover on June 27, 1948 in Tampico, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 28, 1980. She was employed at National Manufacturing in Sterling for about ten years. She was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church and the Good heer Circle of King’s Daughter’s in Sterling.

 

She is survived by one brother, Harold (Majorie) Wetzell of Tampico, Illinois; one sister, Helen Adnreas of Sterlnig, Illinois; and numberous neices and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

 

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Garland Funeral Home n Tampico. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Dalmus Meeks will officiate. Visitation will be h eld on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the Garland Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in her memory to the Tampico United Methodist Church.
