OBITUARY

Lorraine A. Kolling, 61, of Route 1, Tampico, died Thursday, March 26, 1998, at Franciscan Medical Center, Rock Island.

Prayer services will be at 10 a.m.m Monday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico, with a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico, with Father Mike Librandi, director of Tukaway Retreat Center, Mount Carroll, officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be at S. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A memorial has been established.

Mrs. Kolling was born June 2, 1936, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of James J. and Mary Agnes (Doloughty) Tuite. She married Albert R. "Digger" Kolling Jr. on Sept. 13, 1958, at St. John the Baptist Church, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was employed as a secretary at Cady Implement, Yorktown, for nine years, and as a school bus driver for the Tampico School District for two years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Tampico, and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Survivors include her husband, Albert of Tampico; four sons, Albert R. Kolling III of Rockford, Robert J. "Merf" (Ann M.) Kolling of Glendale Heights, Christian J. Kolling of Sterling, and Peter (Sonya R.) J. Kolling of Tampico; two daughters, Lorry A. (Wesley) Paver of East  Peoria, and Colleen A. (Douglas R. ) Johnson of Janesville, Wis.; six grandchildren; two brothers, James J. Tuite Jr. of New Jersey, and William E. Tuite of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death b her parents and three sisters.
