OBITUARY

Arthur "Bus" Stickel, age 72, of E. Kimball Street, Tampico, Illinois, died Wednesday, November 27, 1991 in the CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, with the Rev. Robert May, pastor of the Tampico Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Memorial has been established in his memory.

Mr. Stickel was born on December 23 1918 the son of George and Alma Hart Stickel. He owned and operated a Sinclair Gas Station in Tampico for several years and later retired from General Electric in Morrison.

He served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II, was a graduate of Tampico schools, and played on the Tampico Merchants softball team.

Survivors included: two brothers, Harold and James of Tampico; two sisters, Mrs. Lavern (Ruth) Bock of Arcadia, FL and Mrs. John (Mary) Bohm of Rock Falls; sixteen nieces and nephews and twenty-eight great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Vernon and Ronald; and one sister, Elizabeth Crandall.
