ALICE W. HEARD
Miss Alice W. Heard Passes Away Saturday
Prophetstown: - Miss Alice W. Heard, 62, licensed private investigator, died Saturday at West Lake Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill., where she had been a patient for 17 days.
Alice Heard was born Dec. 5, 1900, in Valparaiso, Ind., the daughter of Thomas H. and Myra Holladay Heard. She was reared and educated in the Valparaiso area. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the OES chapter.
Surviving is her sister, Mrs. Lester (Martha) Jacobs, Erie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Gardner Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Grange of the Erie Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home ater 7i p.m. Monday.
