Mrs. Guy Sisler Dies Sunday
 
Walnut: - Mrs. Guy (Madeline) Sisler, 82, of Walnut, died Sunday morning at Perry Memorial Hospital in  Princeton.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut with the Rev.James O. Davis, pator of the United Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Walnut Cemetery.  Visitation is Monday (tonight) from 7-9 p.m at the funeral home.  A memorial has been established to the Walnut Rescue Unit.
 
She was born May 29, 1896 in Walnut, the daughter of William and Flora Jane Livey.  She attended Walnut Schools, graduating in 1914. She then attended Northern Illinois Teachers College in DeKalb. She taught in the Walnut Rural Schools and later was employed as a secretary for Swiff and Company in Chicago. She returned to Walnut where she was employed at the Post Office.  She married James T.
Stephens on May 27, 1937 and he preceded in death in 1956.  She married Guy Sisler of Ohio in 1959.  The couple resided in Ohio and Walnut. He preceded in death in 1971.
 
Suvivors include three sisters, Mrs. I. M. Ramona Lewis of Walnut, Mrs. James (Greta) Patterson and Mrs. Marvin (Grace) Winger, both of Dixon; one brother, Jeff Livey of Walnut.  She was preceded in death by two brothers.
