Lillian Rosene Succumbs Monday
 
Mrs. Lillian M. Rosene, a former Tampico resident, 84, of 614 Tyler, DeKalb, died Monday morning in her home.
 
Visitation will be held at the Wirtz Roche Smith Chapel in DeKalb on Tuesday from 6-8:30 p.m.  The body will then be taken to the Schmitt Funeral Chapel in Tampico, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Church of Christ of Tampico. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Mrs. Rosene was born Oct. 20, 1891 in Bureau County, the daughter of Peter and Mary Howlett Johnson. She had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the DeKalb Public Hospital for years.
 
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Beydler of Sarasota, Fla., Miss Blanche Rosene at home in DeKalb, Mrs. Henry (Etta Mae) Tufte of Genoa, Mrs. Ronald (Helen) Rank of Wheeling, and Mrs. William (Neva) Schatti of East Moline;  one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Wescott of Rock Falls;  six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 
She was preceded by her husband, Roy in September 1956, her parents, one daughter, one granddaughter, four brothers and one sister..
