ZACK  T.  ERDMANN
 
Funeral services were held today for Zack T. Erdmann, 77, Rural Route 2, Prophetstown, who died Saturday morning in his home. Rev. Bruce Janes, pastor of the United Methodist Church officiated at services at the Gardner Funeral home. Burial was held at Riverside Cemetery.  Memorial fund has been established in his meory.
 
Mr. Erdmann was born Sept. 1, 1907 in Prophetstown, the son of Henry and Alice Goembel Erdmann. He was educated in Prophetstown schools, and married LuVern Richards of Prophetstown on March 3, 1936.  He lived and farmed in the Prophetstown community all his life.
 
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. David (Beverly) Cooper of Prophetstown and Mrs. Rodney (Mabel) McNeil of Lyndon;  two sons, Harley of Sterling and Harold of Prophetstown, and five grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and a grandchild.
