JANE  C.  (Stone) ELTREVOOG
 
Prophetstown: - Jane C. Eltrevoog, 59, formerly of Hooppole, died Monday evening at Community General Hospital in Sterling.
 
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Evangelical Congregational Church in Hooppole. Burial in Hooppole Cemetery. There will be no visitation and no flowers.
 
Memorial has been given to Calvary Church.
 
Jane was born March 28, in Ottawa, the daughter of Lester and Lucy White Stone. She was educated in LaSalle County and married Arthur Eltrevoog of Ottawa on Aug. 29, 1943 in Ottawa. The couple lived in Hooppole for 20 years, then moved to Grand Junction, Colo., where they lived for six years, residing in Lamar, Calif., for 13 years and returning to Prophetstown in 1984.
 
Surviving are her husband, her mother, Lucy; two daughters, Kathleen Ebersole of Sterling and Valerie Schwind of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one son, Leon Eltrevoog of Atwater, Calif.;  three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (June) Clark of Kewanee and two brothers, Frank and Melvin Stone both of Prophetstown.
 
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
