CLAYTON  H.  MINCH
 
Prophetstown: - Clayton H. Minch, 91, formerly of Hooppole and Mendota, died Thursday at Prophets Riverview Center.
 
Funeral servcices will be at 1 p.m. at the Gardner Chapel with Janet Eggleston of the Zion United Methodist Church of Hooppole officiating. Burial Restland Memorial Gardens in Mendota. There will be no visitation.
 
Memorials may be made to the Prophets Riverview Center.
 
Mr. Minch was born June 30, 1894 in Hooppole, the son of Henry and Ellen Foliday Minch.  He married Minnie Taylor and she preceded him in death in 1963.  In 1966 he was united in marriage to Kathleen Anderson, she preceded him in death in 1976.  Mr. Minch was an army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post 540 in Mendota. He farmed in the Hooppole and Mendota areas before moving to Prophetstown in August of 1977.
 
Surviving are one sister, Katherine Minch of Geneseo, three nieces and two nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by two wives, two sisters and one brother.
