DONALD B. GLASSBURN



DONALD B. GLASSBURN, 80, 1403 E. 25th St., formerly of Tampico, died Saturday at the CGLH Medical Center.


Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday the the Garland Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Risely, pastor of St. Andrew’s Church in Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tampico.


He was born November 18, 1918 in Tampico, the son of Fred and Lena Forward Glassburn. He married Mary Callahan, April 30, 1928 in Tampico. Mr. Glassburn was a truck driver for over 30 years, retiring in 1969.


Surviving are his wife, two sons, James of Cazenovia, Wis., Jack of Sterling; one daughter, Connie Elliott of Missouri, ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.


He was preceded by three brothers. Memorial established to Newman High School.
