WERE MARRIED LAST THURSDAY

Miss Emma Brown and Wm. Smith were married last week Thursday noon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown southwest of Tampico near Hooppole. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. Burgi of Hooppole and only the close relatives and friends were present. After a fine dinner had been served, Mr. and Mrs. Smith came to Tampico on the dummy train and took the Burlington afternoon passenger for a short wedding trip. Mr. Smith resided at Green River, Illinois, and his bride is quite well known southwest of Tampico, being the daughter of John Brown a prominent farmer..
