ELMENDORF - SCOTT - At the residence of the bride's father, Wm. Scott, July 3rd, 1883, by Rev. F. M. Smith, Mr. Rufus Elmendorf and Miss Cyrenie Scott.

It was a most enjoyable evening; twenty-five invitations having been given, outside the home, and they mostly came. The tables groaned under the bountiful repast, to which ample justice was done. Nor must I forget to mention that Frank Lee makes an A No.1 "best man" and Ida M. Middagh as bride's maid did her part nobly. I would be pleased to tell how the bride was dressed; but one cannot. Suffice to say she was most pleasing and becomingly dressed for such an occation.
