Shot Himself Accidentally

Tracy Denison was accidentally shot in the abdomen Monday morning by a rifle but very fortunately the wounds resulting were not serious. Tracy had hold of the end of the barrel and was trying to adjusst the magazine when it accidentally went off the bullet nipping a piece out of one of his fingers and then plowing through the clothing gouging a small piece out of his abdomen. Owing to the fact that he was bundled up for cold weather with considerable clothing, the force of the bullet was spent when it reached his flesh. It was found by the doctor in his shoe where it had fallen. Mr. Denison was at the canal when the accident happened and was able to get up to the bridge where he caught a ride to town and had the wounds which bled profusely treated.
