DR. A. PLYMPTON came from Ashtabula county, Ohio, in 1839, and practiced his profession for about a year in Portland, and then went to Prophetstown. He was a sincere Christian, and frequently preached to the good people of the township. He practiced medicine in the county for about fifteen years, and then returned toOhio, where he died soon afterwards.
