The first Victory Medal given by the United States government to former service men in the World War to be received in Tampico was received here on Wednesday by Dr. H. A. Terry. The medal is an emblem of which every service man may well be proud. It consists of a metal bar to which there is a varied colored ribbon attached and then a round medal on one side of which is a winged figure of victory and on the orther the names of the nations who participated in the war for civilization.
