Sunday, June 30,. is a special day in the life of the Fairfield Lutheran church, New Bedford. On this Sunday the church will terminate almost a century of service to the community. The Fairfield congregation has voted to merge with the Trinity Lutheran church of Manlius. The present pastor is Rev. Palmer S. Nestander.

The Sunday services are open to any who wish to attend, and a special invitation is given to any who have bee members of the Fairfield church or who  have been confirmed in that church.

The Sunday program will be: Holy communion  service at 8:30 a.m.; church potluck picnic held on the grounds of the Fairfield church, New Bedford, at 12:30  .p.m..; pictures will be taken of the assembly at 12:30; a special commemorative service will be held in the church at 2:30.

The community is also invited to these services.
