Alvin WINCHELL, only son of L. B. WINCHELL formerly of Tampico and now residing atOak Bluff, Man. Canada, has joined the Canadian army and will see duty in Europe in the spring according to word received  by Foster WINCHELL. It is also reported that Doc BRANTS, son of Fred BRANTS, formerly of Tampico has joined the army. Alvin has ent Foster a picture of himself in his uniform.
