Burke Heirs Loose (sic) Will Suit

The Supreme Court last week reversed and remanded the decision of the Circuit court in the John BURKE will case and the estate consisting of a fine farm north of Tampico and some residence property in Sterling will go to St. Mary's church on the death of Mrs. BURKE. It will be rmemberd that Mr. BURKE willed the farm and other property valued at $30,000 to St.Mary's church, Sterling, for the erection of a parish school. Some of the heirs contested the will claiming that section was invalid and the Circuit court sustained their contentions. The matter was then carried higher and St. Mary's church won the suit.
