HAD NARROW ESCAPE

Tampico Tornado

Friday, August 30, 1907

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph TEACH had a narrow escape from serious injury last Sunday while in their automobile on the road to Sterling. They passed a rig, slowing down and giving it a wide margin of the road. The horse however made a plunge and reared. When he came down his fore feet struck Mr. and Mrs. TEACH cutting his coat, bruising his head and also bruising Mrs. TEACH somewhat although neither were seriously hurt. A fender on the auto was bent. R. TEACH says he objects strongly to having a horse try to ride in is machine.
