Tampico Youth Missing Since October 23rd

J.W. Yarde of Tampico received a telegram Tuesday morning reporting that his son, Private Archie A. Yarde, Co. M. 354th Inf., serving as a machine gunner somewhere in France, has been missing since Oct. 23 and cannot be located in any of the camps.  The last letter received from him was dated Oct. 4th and stated that he had just returned to a rest camp after sixty days at the front, and it is supposed that he returned to the front.  As he was necessarily in an exposed position it is thought likely that he may have been captured and strong hopes are entertained that he will soon be found in good health.
