Ronald Reagan, a nationally known movie and TV personality who was born in Tampico, has announced that he will be a candidate for the Republican nomination for governor of California.

If successful, Reagan will probably run against Governor Edmund Brown, democrat, who is expected to be a candidate for a third term.
