Here's the wedding announcement for Otto SWINKE and Esther HUNTER that I transcribed from the 1920 Tampico Tornado newspaper:

October 14, 1920
POPULAR YOUNG PEOPLE UNITED IN MARRIAGE
Miss Esther HUNTER and Mr. Otto SWINKE Take Vows Last Thursday Evening.
A very pretty home wedding was solemnized Thursday evening, Oct. 7, at eight o'clock at the home of Mrs. Cora HUNTER on Market street, when her daughter, Esther Fern became the bride of Otto C. SWINKE.
To the strains of the wedding march played by Mrs. Maud HEIN the bridal party consisting of the bride and groom, Miss Bessie McKENZIE as bridesmaid and Willard HUNTER, brother of the bride as best man entered the parlor taking their places under an arch of asters and ferns in one corner of the room. As the music ceased, Rev. H.C. BROWN of the M.E. church read the beautiful ring ceremony in the presence of thirty-five guests.
The bride wore a pretty gown of light blue silk with an overdress of white chiffon while the bridesmaid's gown was of blue ticotine with zephyr trimmings.
At the close of the ceremony, congratulations were showered upon the newly wedded couple after which a two course supper was served in the dinning room. Here, as in the parlor, the color scheme of blue and white was carried out making a very pretty picture. Miss Velma HUNTER and Miss Grace SCOTT acted as waitresses.
A large number of beautiful presents were received, there being besides pieces of cut glass, silverware and other useful atticles, over one hundred dollars in money.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Cora HUNTER and during the greater part of her life lived in this vicinity, where she is well known and enjoys a large circle of friends. For the past three years she has been employed in the post office where she has enlarged her circle of friends by her pleasing manner.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl SWINKE residing southwest of town and is a young man of steady habits, of quiet disposition and well liked by every one with whom he comes in contact.
He is a member of the Legion of this place having been overseas for eighteen months and having seen a great deal of service. They have the best wishes of a large number of friends in this vicinity for a long and happy wedded life.

Also, see the posting "Armed Forces Day" for a listing of the SWINKEs who were serving our country in WW-I.
