I received the following email regarding the ECKDAHL family:

Thanks, I did find the Eckdahl family for Seastrum marriage 1918 after her first husband Otto Linder died. If you find any articles that connect the others like visits in the paper let me know.

Parents John and Caroline from Princeton, Bureau area
Hannah Eckdahl b 1876
Emma m Morine b 1873
Annie m Alm b 1867
Ella m Gum b 1872

Linder children: Julia m Backman, Laura m Gerber, Harry, Esther m Peterson, Ruth m Melville, Edwin, and Forrest. No wives for the boys yet. Do you know when Hannah died and where she's buried? Denise Allis

There is a bio of Hannah on this website. It indicates a wife, Gladys, married to Forrest; none for Harry or Edwin. I don't know when she died, but my first inclination would be to check the archives of the Sterling Gazette.

Thanks, Milo!

Her bio was taken from our Centennial Year
Book (also available for sale on 2 CDs in our gift shop). Page
97.
There is also a very faded photo of her. She lived to be at least
105 yrs old according to the Gazette Index.

Bio:

Gazette Index:

Subject Description Date Location

Seastrum, Hannah birthday - 104 25 April 1979;5;4*

Seastrum, Hannah birthday - 105; Colonial Rest Home 23 April 1980;5;1*

Gerber, Laura Sophie Seastrum (Frank) obituary 7 March 1984;A4;1

Tah-Dah! - I took a chance and called our friends over at Bureau County Genealogical Society and spoke with Joan. 815-879-3133. I guestimated Hannah's date of death as 1980 per her 105th BD announcement in the Sterling Gazette Index on line.

They (Bureau County Gen. Soc.) only index their newspapers up until 1916 and they only archive the newspapers up through 1975. However, she looked in several different indexes, etc. She finally found a date of death as 1981 and she was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton, Lot 3, Block 63. She did not have an exact date of death, only the year. She then gave me the # of the Cemetery, along with the name of the sexton, Bill Webster - 815-872-4231. I called the cemetery and they gave me the exact date of death - July 21, 1981, buried on July 23, 1981. The Princeton Public Library archives the newspapers and should be able to find an obit - 815-875-1331. You're on your own now! (smile)
