FUNDRAISER FOR THE REAGAN STATUE
The Tampico Area Historical Society encompasses parts of Whiteside County and Bureau County in Illinois. Focus is on Tampico, Hume Twp., Hahnaman/Deer Grove, & Prophetstown in Whiteside County & Yorktown & Thomas in Bureau County.

There will be a "Portrait Day" as a fundraiser for the Reagan Statue in Reagan Park in Tampico on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at R&B's Dutch Diner in downtown Tampico.
Portraits can be done for individuals, families and small groups and will be professionally printed ON THE SPOT so there will be no waiting for orders. Local Photographer Dave Fox, owner of Lordscapes Photography, will be doing the portrait work.
A generous portion of the proceeds from the day will be donated to the Tampico Historical Society for its statue fund; it is hoped that we will have a good turnout. Professional portraits have always made great "historical" keepsakes.....and it's not too early to begin thinking about Christmas presents either!
