In 2006 post, Clinton Buell is mentioned, as well as a brother, Fred who married Charlotte McWhorter.

I am trying to find descendants who can remember this family who were in late 80s in 1975.

I am searching for nieces, nephews of Donald Buell of Arizona, brother to Clinton L. Buell of Moline, Jewett C. Buell of Ordway, CO, and Fred, I'm presuming based on obituaries I have and the 2006 post at your site.

Many thanks.
Denise

It sounds like Jewett BUELL may have been part of the creamery. From the Tampico Tornado:

May 9, 1891
The BUELL Bro.'s have placed a new awning to the front of their creamery.

July 25, 1891
Jewett BUELL and wife made a short call here Thursday. They had a few minutes talk with brother Fred.

May 7, 1892
BUELL Bros. creamery at this place is now running at full capacity.

MARRIED
One of the happiest marriages of the season occurred Wednesday morning, Sept. 14th, 1892. It was the wedding of Fred BUELL [this is probably Jewett's brother] and Miss Lon McWHORTER, the nuptual [sic] ceremony taking place at ten o'clock at the residence of the bride's mother on Fifth avenue in this city. The groom, a member of the BUELL Brothers, proprietors of the big Montmoerency creamery, is a young man who holds a high place in the regard of every one possessing his acquaintance, the talented young lady he has chosen for his helpmate through life being the youngest daughter of the late H. Tylor McWHORTER, of Montmorency. Rev. Grover C. CLARK, past of the fourth Methodist church, tied the knot, and the wedding was a very quiet one, only the members of the immediate families of the contracting couples being present. It was, also, very much the nature of a pleasant surprise to nearly all their friends. Mr. and Mrs. BUELL left by the 10:30 o'clock train for a wedding tour a week in the east. ---- Sterling GAZETTE.

Red Clover Creamery Sold Twice
During the past few weeks Manager H.F. HINDES, of the Red Clover Creamery, has been buying up the stock of that institution with the view of becoming sole proprietor of the concern himself. He had hardly got possession before he received a proposition from and Eastern firm to travel to their house, it was an offer that he could not afford to let slip, so he accepted it and then forthwith resold the creamery to the BUELL Brothers. We are sorry to loose Mr. HINDES as a businessman, for he has proven himself energetic, progressive and capable and became a prominent factor in business circles and also in the public affairs of our village.

September 24, 1892
Fred BUELL arrived in town Monday morning on the passenger. He was accorded a hearty greeting by all who met him and many were they who shook his and extended their congratulations. Fred had been absent for over a week and his presence was needed at the creameries where he has kept himself pretty closely this week.

November 5, 1892
The Red Clover Creamery will grind feed every afternoon, until further notice. Come on with your grain and have it ground. BUELL Brothers.

April 1, 1893
Geo. DRAYTON has again taken the road and is working a cream route for the BUELL Bro's creamery. George is a tip top man and will hustle in a large amount of cream for that factory.

May 6, 1893
Mrs. McWHORTER, of Montmorency, has been spending the week with her daughter, Mrs. Fred BUELL.

May 6, 1893
Fred BUELL and Fred GLASSBURN went to Sterling last Sunday afternoon, from there they took the train early Monday morning for Chicago, to be present at the opening of the World's Fair.

May 20, 1893
Fred BUELL, of the Tampico Creamery, told us that he is paying seventeen cents for cream now, and that at this time last year he paid twelve cents.

July 22, 1893
Fred BUELL was the happiest man we met on the streets Friday morning. He was covered with smiles, and he had occasion to be, for what man wouldn't be under like circumstances. His exuberant feelings were all on the account of the advent of a nice baby girl in his household Thursday night.

September 2, 1893
Fred BUELL has rented a house in Sterling and will move there in a week or so.

October 7, 1904
The same of the property of Fred BUELL, the bankrupt Prophetstown creamery man will be held in Prophetstown, Oct. 29. It will be a public sale and the proceeds will be divided among the creditors of Mr. BUELL after the expenses have [sic] been provided for.

August 11, 1905
YORKTOWN
Mrs. BUELL of Chicago is visiting for a couple of weeks at A.O. HUNTER's.

Ok, I've tied in EMMONS to BUELL:
Lydia Myer EMMONS (dau of Lehman L. & Jane nee HALE EMMONS) m Jewett Clinton BUELL (son of Clinton C. and Mary Althea nee NILES BUELL).

And I've tied BUELL to McWHORTER:

Fred BUELL (brother of Jewett) m Charlotte Louise McWHORTER (dau of H. Tylor & Rhoda Ann nee WARD McWHORTER)

I have traced H. Tylor McWHORTER's tree back 3 generations to 1777 in Orange Co., NY hoping to find a link to "my" Frank McWHORTER - but I was not successful.

Frank (maybe Francis) McWHORTER m Minnie HOGEBOOM, sister of my g grandmother Daisy nee HOGEBOOM DOW. Minnie's marriage apparently was very difficult and she was separated from her husband Frank (he was living in Carthage, IL) when she took her life in Moline, IL in 1900. She left her 4 year old daughter Dorrit McWHORTER (you can find more about Dorrit in other areas of this website)who was raised by my gg grandparents John and Anna HOGEBOOM in Lyndon, IL.

I have not been able to establish Franks parentage or any of his siblings (if there are any.) I would like to see if anyone has additional leads or information.

Thanks,
Les
