I have finally finished indexing all of the burials in the Union Cemetery - aka: Greenville/Fairfield or Whittington Cemetery in Bureau County. I still have to fill in the information, but at least you can tell who is buried there.
Whew!

Would like to know what year was the first person buried in the Union/Greenville/Fairfield Cemetery. The person that founded Deer Grove, William Renner and his wife Elmina Rheinhart Renner and several of their children including 2 that served in the Civil War are all buried there. This William and Elmina are my great-great-grandparents and I have visited this cemetery all of my life to place flowers on thes graves. I also understand that there are still several lots that belonged to this Renner family that have never been used so what happens to this property?
Concerning the Union list, the Elmina Rheinhart is the same person as Elmina Renner. She married 2 other times after the passing of William Renner but Rheinhart was her maiden name and of course Rheinhart is spelled several different ways?????
