Hi Margaret. I have contacted a Brady family to see if they link to the names you mentioned. I'm pretty sure they do and will re-post when I hear back from her.

hello everyone. i am the granddaughter of minnie brady eshelman and the daughter of lois eshelman heinsen. i have been doing quite a bit of research on the family and have managed to trace the family of kate meyers brady quite far back on her maternal side (which would be the lineage of sarah frances marshall meyers.) it's quite interesting...the marshall side of the family was descended from quakers and goes back to ireland in the mid 1600s. the matlock side is equally as interesting and involves a man named samuel barlow who was part of carving out the oregon trail. he has a wikipedia page for anyone interested. sarah marshall was the granddaughter of george murdock who is mentioned in the listing for mr barlow. i have been trying to work my way back from samuel dickey brady, but have been unable to get much farther than his parent's names (john brady and jane bell). and if anyone knows our relationship to the conklings, i would love to know! i can remember meeting Osa when i was quite young and she was quite old at the time. all i know is they lived near the farm of edwin and kate brady. no one in my family seems to know. if i can help fill in information anywhere, please let me know. thank you!

i'm afraid i personally do not have anything formally put together in the form of an outline. all of my info (farther back than sarah marshall) has all come from ancestry. com and familysearch. org. and famiysearch. org is a free site established by The Latter Day Saints.

Heidi,
That's fine. You may want to consider downloading a FREE genealogy software program. There are several available online. Legacy, RootsMagic & MyHeritage are a few. You can create a Gedcom from you tree on Ancestry.com and upload it to any of the software programs. It makes it much easier to add, correct or delete information as well as create various types of reports. Again, thank you for sharing the information you have.

We have family records from Osa Conkling that my Father In Law inherited when she died. I mean tons of it, all the way back to 1745. But what I want to post right now is the mystery of who was the father of Edward Elmer Brady's half sibs and why it appears he came back here with his Mother alone. As you can see in the obit the half sibs are Williams and the Mother's name at marriage was Wilson. Sarah Nash Wilson married Robert Williams who died September 12, 1859. She then married Samuel Brady. Those half sibs were much older. I will post more about them latter. But if you are like we were wondering why/who/what happened and why their is no mention in what info is in above because the father's name missing, we have that soulved. I have to add bless the pack rat Osa was to keep all this (and her generations before her) her tiny house was full the roof.
