TAHS Updates

MEMORIAL DAY, Monday, May 28, 10:00 a.m.
Once again the Tampico American Legion, post 574 & the Tampico Area Historical Society will honor the Vets buried in our St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico Memorial Cemetery, and the Yorktown Cemetery. Please join us promptly at the St. Mary's Cemetery at 10 a.m. A short service will be given by the Tampico American Legion #574 followed by a reading of the Veterans' names who are buried in that cemetery. We will then go directly to the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. The American Legion #574 will again do a short service followed by a reading of the Veterans' names buried in the TMC and then followed (still in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery) by a reading of the Veterans buried in Yorktown Cemetery. That will conclude the Memorial Service. The public is invited and encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to remember our Veterans.
The Ronald Reagan Birthplace & Museum will be open after the Memorial Services. Please stop by.
