Married Fifty Years Nov. 8, 1917

Mr. and Mrs. George Berge who celebrated their Golden Wedding Annversary Nov. 8, and an account of which appeard in last week's Tornado, are still hale and hearty as may be seen by the above picture which was taken recently. Mr. Berge was born in Hesse, Germany in 1842 and came to America in 1860. Mrs. Berge was born in Prussia in 1849 and acame to America when a childe of two years. Both have been citizens of this community for many years. Both have been citizens of this community for many years and taken an active interest in the community's welfare being actively associated with the Baptist church. They have three daughters, fie grand children and one great grandchild - all spledid people and a credit to their ancestors.
