Garden Plain Cemetery
The inhabitants of Garden Plain have provided a place for their departed friends. They have a beautiful little cemetery, situated upon a rising piece of ground near the Corners, and shaded by fine old trees. It contains some fine monuments. Abel PARKER and his son David are buried here. The first interment was the body of A. M. GEORGE. (Portrait & Biographical Album of Whiteside Co., 1885)
