Four Generations

Submitted by Les Niemi. Standing is John Noah HOGEBOOM, setting are his father, Noah John HOGEBOOM, his father, and Daisy nee HOGEBOOM DOW, his daughter, and Dorris DOW, Daisy's daughter, John's granddaughter. Daisy is my g grandmother. This photo was taken around 1900, when Dorris was about a year old. Soon after this photo was taken, Daisy and her husband Lauer DOW and family left to San Francisco where Lauer, an electrical engineer, was hired to help electrify the city - the first electrical boom in the bay area. We had to wait 75 years for the second boom involving electricity - the computer boom. Check out the DOW site for more of my DOW photographs. ***end of notes***
