Hand-written obituary:

Engerman Olson was born Oct. 18, 1835 at Kronebergs San, Verastad Forsamling, Sweden. Died Mar 25, 1924, at Tampico Illinois, 88 years, 5 months, 7 days. He was the eldest child of Olof Johanson and Ellen Hokinson to which union thirteen children were born all of whom have preceeded  him in death but one brother , John Olson and one sister, Mrs. Magnus Peterson. 

Was married May 5, 1878 to Emma Gustafva Johanson, Rysby Socken, Kroneergs San, Sweden. To this union were born six children; Ida Maria , died in infancy; Alfred Olof; Amanda Sandrock;Elfrida Matilda; Segrie Mari Pierson; and Boline.

Landed in America Oct. 18, 1889.

While living in the vicinity of Fairfield was a member of the Swedish Lutheran Church of New Bedford, Ill.

He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, children, six grandchildren, nephews, and nieces and a host of friends. Brother & sister.
